True Alliance Center, Inc. seeks to provide continued support to community-based organizations responding to the immediate needs of Haitian immigrant communities and Haiti earthquake evacuees in the wake of the Haiti earthquake disaster.
Services

Health Education and Healthcare
True Alliance Center, Inc. provides health education and facilitates access to healthcare for immigrant communities in MA. In the wake of the January 2010 earthquake disaster in Haiti, TAC provided health education to women, men, and children of all ages affected by Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). TAC has also provided logistical support for mobile and legal health clinics in collaboration with community-based organizations and law firms.

Education
True Alliance Center, Inc. advocates at the State and local levels to increase funding for educational and workforce development programs for immigrants. Resources like ESOL and job training opportunities help new arrivals find employment and make socioeconomic progress.

Immigration
True Alliance Center, Inc. educates and provides case management to the community around immigration services, resources, and the legal provisions of immigration policies. TAC has led immigration clinics in small and large group settings at local churches and other community-based organizations. . TAC has also organized TV and radio education outreach to the Haitian community regarding Deferred Action, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), and Family Reunification.

Housing
True Alliance Center, Inc., in partnership with other community-based organizations, has successfully advocated for emergency shelter and quality affordable housing for immigrant communities. Through the urging of TAC and its partners, the U.S. Department of Housing and Community Development made $70,000 available to fund two Haitian Creole-speaking staff positions at two different community agencies in Boston and Brockton to provide case management for displaced Haitian families. Additional Haitian families and evacuees received permanent housing through Emergency Assistance and Home BASE funding. These families also received an emergency assistance fund increase from $115 to $160.
